Finally getting up and running with the Adelphia HiDef (HD) DVR. It's Motorolla hardware running Moxi software. I probably have other pages here on the blog with Moxi links, so I have to consolidate, but here's a guy that has decent tips. Also is a ReplayTV owner like myself, so comes from the same point of view. Jim's Tips | Gmail Tips | Moxi Tips (Remote control codes for TVs and Receivers here >>>>) Installation guide for techs coming to your house. (This is for Charter cable with Moxi, but still has good info about the Moxi box, system / service menus, etc) (Code that works for my Onkyo receiver is 3135) Quick tip: Moxi + OK buttons, hold them down for a few seconds. Get 2 blinks of Power light on remote. Enter 4 digit code, see 2 blinks on light that it's accepted. Try device. (Brought over this text from previous topic, combining here.) Awaiting my Adelphia DVR install in January. In the meantime, here's some info about the Motorola box that they're installing. Apparently it's setup (ethernet, built-in cable modem, USB ports, much of which is currently disabled) to be upgraded in the future to a full-fledged media center on the home network. Motorola BMC9012 HD DVR The Moxio UI that runs on the Motorola box comes from a company called Digeo, one of Paul Allen's companies. Supposedly the UI one a technology emmy for user interface. We'll have to see... A dude posted this FAQ at htdv.forsandieg.com. Fairly comprehensive doc on all things Moxi, Digeo, etc. Posted 11:09 AM | 0 comments | Permalink
