I'm screwing around with the partitions on my new Dell Inspiron laptop. Apparently when I reinstalled Windows XP, it nukes the factory master boot record, so you lose ability to use Dell PC restore (where it restores from the hidden partition)

I'm tempted to try to boot into that partition by tweaking boot.ini, but not sure what directory to point it to. ... and worse, screwing up boot.ini bad enough so it won't boot Windows.
