When I posted a new topic today on
DotNetNerd, I noticed that the text of the first post was starting
below the bottom of the archives list, leaving tons of white space at the top of the page.
Not sure when this started, only in the past couple days, but it looks like it's affecting many people.
View source, and you see an empty <div> tag just before the $BlogItemBody$ section (from the template). The style on this DIV is
clear:both which means don't allow this text to go alongside any floating elements. Well, the archives list "menu" to the right of the page is exactly that - float: right.
Anyway - here are some links where people suggest workarounds. I briefly tried one of them (put my own DIV surrounding the BlogItemBody), but it didn't work (at least in preview mode). Hopefully Blogger.com will fix this soon...
