Listened to some of Mark Russinovich's TechEd talk today about spyware, malware, viruses, etc.

He points to a couple things during the talk.

AutoRuns, better than any other tool that shows you what's configured to run at startup.

Running as non-Admin. Aaron Margosis has a good site/blog about this topic, as does Keith Brown, who's been a leader in this charge for some time now.
